Automotive Service Advisor
We are looking for a competent, friendly service advisor to join our automotive shop. In this role, you will act as the point of contact for our automotive customers, initially greeting them, explaining our services, and collecting payment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a compassionate and patient attitude, and have the ability to perform basic math skills. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers upon arrival to shop
Ascertain reason for customer visit through verbal interview and visual assessment of vehicle
Be able to explain the customers concern to the technician
Consult with technician regarding appropriate service options
Develop as many solution methods as possible to address the customers concerns
Explain all service options to customers including time and cost estimates
Provide in-depth information on original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part options
Advise customers on warranty protections and other potential value-adding service options
Track maintenance or repair status, fill out reports on labor and cost of all services
Test drive vehicles
Perform post-service inspection with customers and answer any questions they may have
Complete the customer experience by ensuring a smooth check out process
Perform customer service duties, i.e. answering the phone, scheduling service appointments, and calling customers to inform them their vehicles are ready for pick up
Manage shop workflow and schedule for technicians
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate’s degree preferred
Experience in the automotive industry preferred
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Ability to explain complicated automotive concepts to visitors who may not be familiar with industry terminology
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Extensive knowledge base of automotive industry and parts
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Part-Time Office Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized and professional office assistant to join our growing organization. In this position, you will perform clerical tasks, answer phones, and making courtesy follow up calls to customers. Other duties will include assisting office managers and executives with preparing documents, organizing files, managing existing documents, and generally keeping the office organized, tidy, and running smoothly.
The office assistant is responsible for:
Answer phone inquiries, direct calls and provide basic company information
Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, and organize documents; photocopy, fax, etc. as needed
Assist in planning company events, meetings, luncheons, and employee team building activities or special projects
Help prepare reports, presentations, and data
Manage and maintain files, records, and correspondence for meetings
Assist with managing the QuickBooks records
Prepare information and research for executive needs
Applicants are required to be:
At least 18 years old
Recipients of a high school diploma or GED
Prior experience handling office responsibilities, experience in customer service, or related field
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); scheduling appointments/updating calendars
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and to grow with the company

Automotive Technician

Service technicians are responsible for providing regular maintenance to customer vehicles, as well as inspection and repair of vehicles with operational or safety concerns. Technicians are responsible not only for the German service we provide but also Quality Import Service's reputation as a trustworthy and dependable auto shop. Because of this, a successful service technician will have a strong understanding of automotive maintenance & repair, strong attention to detail, and a dedication to honesty and fairness.

Automotive Technicians are Responsible for:
Performing a wide range of automotive maintenance and repair services across many makes and models
Completing all work orders correctly and accurately
Maintaining accurate and organized notes and paperwork on all jobs
Practicing safe work principles
Applicants are required to be:
At least 18 years old
Recipients of a high school diploma or GED
In possession of a valid driver's license
Familiar with BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Mini vehicles
Committed to keeping up to date on automotive knowledge
Dependable, honest and organized
Willing to relocate
